Westport Salmon
« on: July 15, 2010, 09:02:33 AM »
The charter boat Slammer had 28 kings and 6 silvers for 18 people yesterday some nice fish. The tuna are starting to show and lots of boats getting ready to head out when the weather settles. Been foggy in the mornings.

I;ll find out tony he sent me pictures of his fish it;s on facebook. It;s foggy and windy right now we caught some lingcod down by the fog horn but no bass. We had short salmon leaders on and just drifted along the jetty on the incoming it was to rough at the end. We used herring.

Sounding real good for some kings..I could do the out front in 40 with my boat, if the water is good. :yike: .

The lings sound good too..

How much do you want to bet the main run will be in Ilwaco by the time I get there in Aug.  :chuckle: :chuckle:
