Way back in 91' or so, I reported a pot grow I stumbled across and received a bunch of cash.

So you sold the pot? :chuckle:

Wow, thanks for pointing that out. Just went back and edited. Did sound funny that way..... And if you think about it, they planted the stuff, fertilized and watered it, and I made some cash. Pretty cool. I would have made a whole bunch more if I would have started harvesting it for sale, but...hey' whatcha goin to do?

I have no problem turning in a grow or meth lab. Would do it again, reward or not.

Be careful its not just the tweakers you have to worry about, alot of the chemicals and equipment they use is deadly or at least very dangerous.
Leave it alone get away and call the cops!!

There's got to be a hotline for meth labs.  I could use the extra dough.  You could be out looking for sheds and bump into a factory, and pay off your bills at the same time.

Anybody know about a hotline?

I thought that's all Capital Forest was....pot farms and tweakers. We have seen some interesting people up there. My buddies saw a guy drive his truck off the road and go down an embankment. He told them not to call the cops and that he didn't need any help. They left pretty quick. I don't go up there without a gun.

Hey, Rednecks don't dump garbage, they shoot the white trash dumping garbage.  Just thought I'd clarify that. :)

When I was on the Big Island back in 2003 the Local Filipinos were laughing about the Local Hawaiian that planted land mines on his grow operation. He forgot where they were in his doped up mind and stepped on one blowing his foot off. Then he used his cell phone to call for help. The ambulance people came but also notified the drug enforcement people so he was busted for growing, stealing munitions from the National Guard where he was a member as well as blowing off his foot.

Too bad more of that stuff did not happen here with the cookers and growers.

There's another thought on the origin of "Redneck"

My Scottish ancestors were among the first to volunteer for the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.  They were known as Rednecks for the red scarves they all wore.  They may well have gone on to be the sunburnt neck farmers...
