Lil Blackie and a Bear(any ideas on the size of the bear?)
« on: July 26, 2010, 10:58:00 PM »
The cameras are not that productive for me this year, but here is a little Blacktail and a Descent Bear.  A friend of mine thinks the bear is big and I disagree I dint put him any more than 150-175lbs.  What does the consensus say?

I would say 200+ I shot one last year that was about that size as far as I can tell from the pic and it was 215.

Let him grow.

If it helps he is 3 1/2 - 4ft tall at the rump.  I have a picture of me walking to my camera in the same spot and he stands a little over waist high.

Let him grow.

I never said I planned on hunting him.  He is obviously being photographed over bait.
