does the cabelas not have them up there? if not i am sure they can get some in for you if you can't find them at another store.

best is to either order directly from Barnes or order from Cabelas and have them either shipped to you or shipped to the post falls store.  .54 is hard to find in stock anywhere.  I ordered them last winter.  Make sure that you get the loading jag for your ramrod if you don't already have one.

yes, & no.  If you try and load with out the jag, you will damage the front end of the bullet.  So I only assume that it would affect accuracy, but I haven't tried to load with out the jag.

If you get one slightly hung up in a dirty barrel, and have to push a little harder, you will screw up the face on that bullet.  Even though they are copper that faces is designed to fold, so they are soft.

I would be surprised if you find them at Wholesale Sports - I didn't see them the last time I went through.  Know one seems to stock much for the .54

Call Barnes and order what you need. They ship usually the same day.
If you have technical questions, ask for Ty. (435) 856-1000
Ty would know which bullet goes best with which ML and can tell you how many grains and type of powder.

The bullets are great!!  I'm sure you'll love shooting them.  I would order them from Cabelas.com and have them sent to the post fall store for free shipping.  Yes, get he Jag.  Your spending about $25-$30 for the bullets, just spend another $8 for the Jag.  If you already have a sabot Jag, it works ok, but I do prefer the Barns Jag to most others i've used.

I know the bullets shoot awsome i shot them last year and put one though the lungs of a cow elk at 110yards and she went about 40 yards. The blood trail looked like i was running a garden hose for 40 yards. I still have a few from last year but i'm gonna order more from barnes or cabelas. Thanks guys
