any hominy lovers??

I do this hunting a lot or just camping,drain some yellow hominey and rinse,coat with flour and fry in butter till they a little crispy crust on the outside,salt and pecker and serve with over easy eggs and hot sausage

Yummmmmmm! I used to eat them when I went to my G-ma's house, I haven't had them in years. I'm going to get some at the store next  time I go  ;)

sounds like my kinda huntin camp. i love hominy - and fried sounds even better.

Its corn in a can that looks all puffed up. I have only seen it white. Not sure what they do to it to get it like that, but I like it. May grandma used to make it all the time. I think I have a can in the cupboard.

Love hominy, and any thing fried is always better. Don't think the salt and other THING sounds very good, though

Isn't it corn that's soaked in lie or something similar?

And if you're salt and peckering it, it's already served with a hot sausage. :yike:
