You got the politician thing spot on Dave.

I`ve seen worms in duck breasts, but never grouse. I don`t eat them if they have worms.

I just cleaned a ruff and found the same yellow spots....Got on here to post the same question you did? Pretty gross! Im not eating it...

I have seen that in ducks also but I would not eat it.
