Bears at night?

The legal hunting hours chart (page 68 of your regs) for game animals does not start until Sept 1st.  The regs state you can not use artificial light or spotlights for big game but if you read further it only says you can not use Night Vision and laser sights on deer and elk.  Does not mention bears.  So here is the question.  Can you use moon light, night vision or thermal scopes to hunt bears at night during the month of August?

1. Hunting with artificial lights:
Hunting big game with the aid of an artificial
light or spotlight is prohibited.

12. Using night vision and laser sights:
It is illegal to hunt deer or elk with the aid of
infrared night vision equipment or with laser
sights (not to include range finders) capable
of projecting a beam onto the target, while in
possession or control of a firearm, bow and
arrow, or crossbow.

Well now that you know you there is nothing in the regs that says you cant hunt bears at night in Aug you have even more reasons to buy one.
