100 fish days
«

Its a feat I bet rarely happens. I know there are days folks catch a lot of fish, but to actually land and unhook and release 100+ fish is alot of FUN work. Lil Bone had her first 100 fish day a few ago. I bet she doesn't quite get the full grasp of her feat. Here she is with her 100th fish. We stopped at 101. That was enough for her.

Don't think I've ever had a 100 fish day. But the most fish I have caught in a day was 27 kings. And we only counted the fish that we where able to unhook. Not the fish that came off on there own and fish that ended up fowl hooked. And that was after work. What a fun time. Congrats on the 100 fish.

That's great. Looks like she would put a lot of us fly guys to shame. Is she willing to do guide trips yet?
That is a milestone she will remember the rest of her life. All caught on dries? EHC's?
Had a few 100 fish days catching crappie and perch and once on a remote river in Russia catching salmon and trout.
It was fun

That's awesome, I was about her age about the only time I've had a 100 fish day, on Joseph Creek in NE Oregon camping with my family. We caught trout on bare hooks, just insane, all native cutt's. I've forgotten how much fun that is on a fly rod.

That is so awesome Bone. teaching your daughter to fly fish at such a young age. It will always be something special you can share. A 100 fish day is usually once in a lifetime. I had one in 1977 with a friend in Alaska. Grayling on the fly. Extra special because he was killed that winter by a bus crossing the road while on vacation in Germany. You are a lucky man. Reasonably good photographer too.
