Wyoming Antelope Unit 22
« on: August 29, 2010, 06:25:40 PM »
Anyone hunted Unit 22 near Buffalo, Wyoming for Antelope before? Anyone have some direction as to where to obtain quality maps.
My buddy has maps already, but I can't stand not having my own.
When I've hunted Arizona I've always been able to locate at a minimum a hunting unit topo map or general map of the area online.
I'm going to call the BLM next week and try to find out the name of the BLM administered lands in the area, so maybe I'll come up with something.
We leave October 1st and I'm super excited.

Let me know if anyone has had experience in that unit.

Thanks

Yea the BLM maps are pretty good. I went into unit 21 last year and that was the maps I got. Watch out for wet weather and the mud, it's nasty.

We hunted there last year with a guide this year we are going back and hunting on a ranch we will be at the Wyo motel in Buffalo on the 3rd. If you go to the sporting goods store in town or the Coop there is a list of ranchers that will let you hunt on property. Some free some for a fee some pay for your buck shoot your does for free all depends. Great place great people.
