I think there was a big bull in the garden dept working its way towards the pet food at Walmart

I scored a 300" bull from this area a couple years ago...huge and chunky, just how I like them.

There just aren't all that many elk in the area.  If you can find the cows this time of the year you'll find the bulls.  That's why there are some nice bulls.  Pretty thick and swampy in general, and few elk.

Hey bow4elk, are you talking about elk or women?

Is that the field over by 304? If it is i leave maybe a mile from there. I see them there all the time and every now and then they will be in the trees next door. Alot of times you can hear them bugle at night.

There are no elk here in Rainier, that cougar has chased them all away.  Nothing to see here, move on.  Actually the big 5x5 that was hanging around near my place mysteriously disappeared a couple of weeks ago.  We stopped seeing him right after my wife heard rifle shots at 11:30 pm across the street bordering Weyco land and a certain ranch named after a car brand.  Unfortunately there is a lot of poaching in this area and the herds are getting thin and very spooky.

507 is the dividing line for 667-666.  Everything North of 507 is 666, South is 667.  It pays to read the regs because I know of a couple of guys who were busted for taking spikes near Vail.  (3 pt+)

I don't remember what 667 is (3pt min or antlerless??), but 666 is any elk.  Puyallup (652??) is any elk... At this point, not wanting to drive far, I'm just looking to take a cow, want some elk steaks!!....better eating anyway.
