 We went up the road to Hurricane Ridge last summer, that is the worst frigging road I've ever seen! Saw some poor guy changing a blown out tire from cutting the rocky corner too sharp. Lot's of deer on the N. end of the peninsula in the park. I remember hand-feeding them as a kid.

Yeah with a pocket knife literally 5' away, they almost seemed tame, Carter got a little too close and they split but for a while they let me take some good pics !!

Thats good stuff Steve I'll be sure to show them to Carter, We only went for an evening drive so no hiking but it's on the to do list, wish I knew more about it, perhaps we can hook up with you one day when you go !!!

Yep Dman that road is a POS and tough on the rig, perhaps someday they will improve it but for now it is what it is !!! Almost get car sick from all the winding and the brakes get really hot on the way back down for sure !!
