Blue and a Bear
« on: September 07, 2010, 09:47:30 PM »
After the rain this evening I went grouse hunting and got a bear.  I was headed home after harvesting a  single Blue and spotted this young boar on the hillside above me. One shot and he rolled to within 25 yards of the road. :chuckle: Sorry for the picture its from cell phone as I rarely have a camera with me in the field. :)

Good job!  What general area/unit? Get any other pics?

Probably ain't much left of the bird you shot.

Nice!
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

And that's the reason guys likes scatter guns....you can take birds, deer, bear...heck, you can kill jus' 'bout anyt'ing wit' 'em...  (I have to stop reading those old mountain man books)...
Of sorrow and sickness I've known on my way,
But I'm old and I'm nervis,
I'm cast from the Service,
And all I deserve is a shillin' a day.
