GSP Male - Stray needs a home.

I have a male GSP hanging around my place..very gentle..he showed up when my lab went into heat.  Called around nobody has claimed him, no collar, tail isn't docked.  Looks healthy, gentle.  Good disposition.  I contacted the local vet  they said they will try and place him but in three days they have to euthanize them.  I haven't taken him in..The city allows only two dogs which I already have. I have made several calls..not sure if he will hunt..but was just curious if anyone needed a pet.  Not sure what to do with him..Any advice?

Long tailed short hair... I'd love to take him if I could... Call the GSP rescue.  They should be able to help.
