Hopefully my party will have some up for grabs after this weekend.  :IBCOOL: I'll keep you in the loop!
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

The cape from my sons 4x3 mulie is avaiable.  Trade for european?
It was well caped - no holes and is well wraped and frozen.

Do you mean the back 1/2 of the hide?  No I do not need them.  Thanks for asking though. :)

Sorry Mich, nothing yet :dunno:
Bad luck this year.  Been hunting hard, but just finally saw a legal buck this morning at less than 500 yards (first one), but couldn't get a shot.  PathfinderJR had to settle for a doe last night.  Opening weekend was a circus this year.  I've gotta change something next year, bow, muzzy, new area, something... :'(

Sorry Mich.  i struck out this year (for Washington anyway).  Had two buddies call me and tell me they had a cape and to come get it, and when I got there, the throat was cut... :bash:

You have no idea.  Last night of the season I spotted a mulie buck.  Couldn't count points, bu 1/2 hour before dark and nothing to lose, so I stalked him.  Got to 200 yards with the last few minutes of shooting light.  I had left my spotting scope behind during the stalk because I had to crawl.  Got into position and he was bedded, less than 200 yards.  STILL couldn't see his points (low light, looking into the setting sun, antlers the same color as the brush, laying in the shadows, etc...).  We stared at each other for the last few minutes of shooting light, and he finally got up and trotted over the hill.  When he skylined, I clearly saw he was a 4x4... :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :'( :'( :'(
