first of all, thanks for everyones help and offers.
we started off on friday morning bugleing across a basin and got a bull to respond. we went around to start the hunt. we couldnt get in the right spot and the bull got by us and up into timber with his cows. he kept calling a couple times but woudnt come out were we could get a shot. we backed out and checked out some other areas. saw a nice bear but a little far to shoot and then a bull running through the timber. no chance.
second day, same start in the same spot. we circled around and ended up to far and above him. we went back down and around him and cut him off before he could get down into bigger timber. he posted up on a 3 acre timber nob with his cows. we got my uncle set up below him veiwing a open hillside just below the bull. the bull had the higher ground position so we played off it. i did some soft bugles and chuckels and more loud and clear cow calls. as i worked my self farther away the bull got more and more pissed off. hitting every tree in his path. as i got out of site from my uncle trying to circle around, the bull showed his head with a branch stuck in his rack. the first shot went to the front shoulder, he steped out a little more and he put one behind the shoulder. he went down hard and game over. my uncle made a great shot with his son at his side watching him. it was picture perfect for both of them. pics are of me and my uncle and then my cuz.
