Springers First Rooster!!
«

Well my one year old Springer flushed a big ole rooster, marked it when it went down and found it in over waist high grass!!! What a thrill for me to see his natural instinct and training pay off!!! Included a pic of him working some wheat in true Springer style!!

Thats really cool! I have a springer that is 6 months old and is doing great. Just gotta get him to stop barking at birds and retreive them :p (the grouse he tried to retrieve was almost as big as him at the time)...
Thanks for the pics

I had two springers back in Iowa and they loved to hunt. They had drive like no other breed for roosters. Someone snuck in and wound his tail up every morning. He never had all four legs on the ground while hunting. I sure do miss hunting the ringnecks over Rudy
Great looking dog.

Thanks all. Jack is a great friend and a kick ass field companion. Only in my second year of hunting......oh what I have missed
It really warms my heart to see him work. And to have him still be my best friend after at home is even better.
Happy hunting all!

Great dog....I have a springer and his name is Jack as well, so I know exactly where you are coming from.

Those Springers are awesome dogs! I wouldn't mind having one if I didn't have a Brittany.
