Predator Camo any thoughts?
« on: October 07, 2010, 08:53:31 PM »
Hey all ~  I have done some decent research on many different types of camo and a ton of people have suggested predator camo.  I was wondering if anyone had any rants or raves about this product.  Im looking at getting Deception Brown as it seems to really break up your outline.  I know wind is number one but to me not looking like a "green blob" is must  :chuckle:

i have a pair of pants (deception brown) and a shirt (fall grey) and used them archery hunting on the ground, mostly.  if you hold still, they work great!    i also use some homemade 3D jacket to help break up my outline.  for modern or muzzy i think predator is great.  for archery, when you are so up close, i like to add some 3D.

Like my deception green for the wet side.  Got the fall brown and fall grey too.  They break up your outline better than most camo out there. :twocents:

love it and it makes you look old school .I don't really like the material ,too bad that they didn't make micro tex in predator.

Take a look at Wolfskin Woolens - they have a product similar to microtex - they are pretty proud of their stuff though.  Closer to custom and good quality.

I have been using predator camo for 4 years now. I really like how they break up your human outline. I do have 1 rant, the cuff and necks stretch out very fast and stay stretched out. Besides that they seem to hold up good to branches and snags :twocents:
