Just wanted to say hello I am new to the forum I have been lurking around for a week and decided to sign in.

I am an avid fisherman and belong to a great forum for fishing (bloodydecks.com) and was happy to see a forum for elk hunting. 

I missed the last two years of elk hunting and I am planning on hunting again this year in the clockum.  There is a group of us that hunt up there and we stay away from the firing line by going deep into the canyons.

welcome to the site! there is a lot of great info here. There is also a ton of info about other hunting and fishing also. feel free to post up some pics and stories. we love to see them :drool:

You know I am much more of a fisherman than a hunter, but do like to pick up a rifle or shotgun on occasion. Nice to see you here Vance. I hope to be posting some pics here very soon.
