Looks like she was hamstrung at some point and managed to escape! That's one resilient deer. Neat to see she made it and is reproducing!

You would lose a few lbs of meat there from the atrophy. Her coat doesn't look to healthy either. The pups look pretty solid

I have seen a buck with 3 legs make it through winter
She is thin but the youngins may be part of the reason. Hope she makes it
