Finally finished my bow!!
« on: March 27, 2008, 07:18:42 PM »
I got a new set of winners choice strings in white and kiwi for christmas and had great intentions of putting them on... Well one thing lead to another and time flew bye and I figured it was time to get them on the bow.  But before I did, I got a wild hair to send my cams off to Moose Ridge Coatings and get them powder coated in a matte candy lime! Waiting those couple weeks for my cams to get back was like waiting a lifetime as I wanted to get it all put back together to keep practing for the caribou hunt this fall! Anyways, it's all done and here are a couple pics! Let me know what you guys think?!

I like the chose of colors you used. Sweet looking bowtech. How much did it cost to do your cams like that, never seen or heard of anyone doing that sort of thing to their bow.

The cams only cost $40!  It costs more with the marbled effect, also if you use a candy color it adds more to the cost too.  You could potentially get it all done for like $30 if you got basic stuff.

That does look way cool. You using peep tubing for your drop away?  Which model drop away you using?
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

No not peep tubing haha! that would be nuts and probably wouldn't work to well!! I have the Spot Hogg Whammy rest and it's the cord they provide with it.  That cord is tiny in diameter but it looks huge on here for some reason!

My only other question is this, How come the rest is on the wrong side of the bow?  :chuckle:
