This is why I dont take a lunch break!!
« on: October 16, 2010, 08:29:01 PM »
My son took his first deer at 2pm today.  He made the picture perfect shot.  It was 150 yrds.  It was moving away and across from us.  We had about 30 seconds to set up.  I hit the squeaker and he pulled the trigger.  Deer dropped with 20 yards.  I am a proud dad this day :IBCOOL: and every day!!

Beautiful deer congrats  :rockin:

Very well done.  I remember my first buck like it was yesterday (it was 1973).  It was WAY smaller than that fine buck.  Today is one of those rare days that neither of you will forget.  Congrats!!
Nothing witty here.... move along.

That is awsome, what a dandy buck. I can't wait till my boys get old enough to hit the woods with me.
