I wasn't really all that close, just have a decent zoom on my camera.  I would say just inside bow range.  :chuckle:  I saw the same pair yesterday evening and the forky was missing an antler.

Isn't it moose season right now up there?

The unit I live in, most of the area is closed except special permit holders.  There is one area that opens soon that you go pick up a permit.
