Great opening weekend! bucks down *another pic added
« on: October 19, 2010, 09:11:24 PM »
Sorry guys and gals. i have been super busy! just wanted to share a update. we had lots of fun and the family got some nice bucks. Opening day had my uncle, one cousin and grandma tag out. a 2x3 4x5 4x4 then sunday my wife got her buck and my other cousin got his buck. 3x3 and a 4x4, then yesterday my little bro got his buck a 4x4. did not get out today, had to much work to do. I still have my multi tag so i will be looking around for a toad! have a few hunter a little bit later to take out on some of my leases and see if we can;t get them into some deer. 6 bucks in 3 days is pretty sweet. deer numbers are down and not seeing a ton of deer. A lot of smaller bucks. most all my family was just looking for some meat. my one cousin got a a very nice 4x4 older buck with good mass. he was already rutted up. he had a huge neck on him and was a sticky buck "from urinating on his back legs". all the others were pretty mild. here is a pic of my little Bro's buck. and then my wifes buck with all the heads of the other bucks, but the bigger 4x4. i did not get a pic of it. i will email and see if i can get a pic from my uncle.

So what do you suppose made the buck sticky?

no i ment sticky :chuckle: from piss all over his back legs on his sent glands :chuckle: the bucks get a very sticky residue on there legs and stink at the same time, when they start rutting and marking.

Really good looking buck, and would have been a really good picture if the tongue wasn't hanging out.
