I received a pic of a 407 inch muzzy bull taken taken during the Muzzleloader season but the email said it was taken in the Dayton unit.  Is this the same bull or were there two bulls with nearly identical scores taken this fall? :dunno:

I would post the pic but I don't have permission.  It is a toad..........I can say that much.....

Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Different Bulls.  The Watershed bull was taken last weekend, I think opening day but not for sure.  Definately different bulls.

I just talked to my buddy down there, he confirmed that it was killed on the opener and right off the trail......nice luck! my buddy says he has lost over 20lbs from hiking that hole.

Right off the trail?  What?  That lucky ***....  I had to pack for 3 days.   :chuckle: :chuckle:

you know that right off the trail can still mean a 3 day pack! my source says it came off biscut or blacksnake and was close to the trail.

Its getting to the trail thats the tough part.  After that - not so bad.  That 2000 ft climb up to the trail was the man maker.   :chuckle:

Now I'm wishing I woulda stayed on the trail to the 7x beast! We ran into one of the meat packers on the bottom trail who said they were miles in the main trail, up a ridge, big herd, 3 bulls, the 7x7 broke away after some hoochie mama talk, 150 yard shot with the muzzy! Still lucky, trail or no trail! Sounds like a dandy, we'd like to see pics!!! My brother ended up getting a decent 6x5 on day 6...OR side.

Would love to see a pic of the bull.  I may have a video of the bull for the hunter.  PM would be appreciated if anyone has a pic or additional info.
