Vortex Viper 6.5x20
« on: October 31, 2010, 10:01:09 PM »
I just bought a Vortex Viper 6.5x20x50mm. I am mounting it on a 6.5-284 Norma. We will see how it goes. I normally buy Leupold. (kinda Excited)

I will add a range report when it happens.

I'll be waiting
"Right now, I am thinking that If my grandmother was here, she would be lecturing me about how there are poor people in Africa, that would just love to have a Ruger, I would just say "Great, granny, lets just ship all the Rugers to Africa!"

In June I got injured and won bulged disks at C2-C3/C4-C5/ and C6-C7. Needless to say it is very difficult to shoot. (Or just to lift my left arm.) So, hunting was pretty light this year. I took my son out and he got a doe. That is about it. (Pretty sad.) I am undergoing Spinal Decompression and that is having great success. I was flat out of hope after all the Steroids and Physical Therapy failed. I may try to get out next week if it works great if not then I will wait the three more months the Dr suggests. It has been a very frustrating six months.

Anyway, that is the real excuse.  :'(

So, I finally went out to the range. I can't think of one bad thing to say about this scope. At dusk it was very clear and bright. nice 1/2 ish moa's at 100 yds. When I go back up I will take some longer pokes but I don't anticipate being disappointed.
