Desert Buck!
« on: November 02, 2010, 06:36:11 AM »
I was lucky enough to see one of the desert units modern tag bucks lastnight! We had a road closed and a truck and camp trailer was stuck, as they could not back up or turn around, they were just stuck till the road opened back up. After talking with them for a few minutes, the one guy said they had been hunting the desert unit and were on their way home. I said any luck? He said Yep. I said can i see? We walked over and I saw a massive buck in the trailer. It was a 3x3, Long main beams and tall. Possibly 28'' or so, just a hog. It is cool to see these big ole boys in person. Score wise, maybe a 150 buck, but he was very impressive. I talked to the guy about hunt WA, and gave him he address here. He said he would get it posted up and I hope he dose, cause I know, this post is worthless with out pic's!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

I know of a couple bucks that have been killed. Nothing better than 170, but nice bucks.
