Huge and Im talking huge Blacktail
« on: November 02, 2010, 08:47:46 PM »
Went to a buddys house the other night to see how there seaon was going got there and no one was home so I called them up and they were dragging out his brothers deer... They told me I better stick around and see the buck so I figured why not who doesnt want to see a buddys buck, Well a hour passed and they get to the house and what they had with them was the largest blacktail I have ever seen. I have been pretty lucky to see some real nice blacktails in my time of hunting and scouting but I have never seen a deer of this magnitude. I skinned and caped the buck for the guys due to the fact they were so worn out... I bet you guys are interested in hearing the score.... Well the buck scored 158" after deductions... Im gonna have some pics put up this week and have a story of the hunt to go with them.... Worth waiting for.....

Nice story, good thing you are not posting pictures. Makes everyone wonder. I like it.

just for the record, I hate this thread.
