At least I'm not the only one who thinking makes tired
« on: November 07, 2010, 11:21:41 AM »
I've heard many times and kind of seen how making a dog think will make them tired.  Had a very good hunt yesterday, and the last 40 minutes the action was ridiculous.  My girl usually treats a 4 hour hunt as a good warm up, well here she is after pointing and finding 6 birds in the last bit.  She actually laid down in front of me while walking back to the truck, which I've never had her do. She usually is still running hard after 8 hours, and putting birds in front of her is usually a recipe for disaster in photo ops.
