My Montana Whitetails
« on: November 12, 2010, 09:16:37 AM »
Just got back from Montana. Heres my whitetails. deer pop seemed down this year. story was pretty quick. i missed a whitey earlier so we were going along a grass couley and i saw horns laying right beside the water and thought maybe it was a skull but right then i see a doe laying 4ft away from him so i put my scope on him and hes just stretching that neck out trying to hide and even looks at me then looks away thinking if he cant see me i cant see him  :chuckle: this is all at 43 yards granted. so i see hes a decent whitey so i shoot him in the neck in his bed and the doe jumps up and remember i still have my doe tag so i shoot her in the neck and have my tags filled within 5 seconds of each other. Hes got 10 inch G2's and is a 5x6 if you want to count the kicker.
