the one who got away
« on: April 08, 2008, 05:15:57 PM »
was hunting with a client when i spotted this deer. the poor old man had blew it on a 300bull days earlier, and was having even worse luck today.. he was 73 years old, and a real good sport. well anyways,, no matter how i tried to stack packs,, he still couldnt get a good shot at him. and he was honest enough to admit that he couldnt hit it off hand. i give the guy much respect. he was just happy to see somthing other than turkey and whitetails..

Well heck, too bad the old fellow didn't connect. But, these things happen. I'm proud of him for not blowing the shot and wounding the buck!

Takes a great man to pass a shot he can't hit. Much respect to him. Really like his attitude with being thrilled to even have the moment!

Much respect to the old boy to not take a shot he didn't know he could make.  Good for him.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.
You are never to old to learn something stupid.

Good for the old guy, he didn't want a young 16" buck anyway. Give that one a couple more years to develope ;)
