What caliber and make is her rifle?  That is an awesome buck!  I am looking for a quality rifle for my ten year old son!

awesome buck.... a quick question.... you have some sort of tape on your rifle ...  the third one i seen this season with blue tape..... is that to keep stuff from going down the barrel..? THANKS

She was shooting a .243, but I never asked or looked at the brand.  Her husband Kyle loaded the ammunition for her.

We were expecting snow Saturday, so she put blue tape over the muzzle to keep the moisture out.

The buck netted 145 6/8 if anybody cares.  It was shot in the Cascades and can only be scored as a mule deer.

Wow I didn't think u could kill a big buck like that with a 243. :chuckle: Rifle Kimber Montana, nice shooter.

Looks to be a Kimber Montana, with Talley light weight rings, scope (?) with elevation turret, buttler creek flip open caps......
