Father & Son Sunday!
« on: November 21, 2010, 01:31:07 PM »
Took my 6 year old out for a nice hunt today at a Snoqualmie Valley release site. Had the place pretty much to ourselves, and it was snowing hard. Our pup put up three birds, killed one, missed another, and lost one in the middle of a nasty patch of blackberries. My son carried the rooster around all morning. He is really starting to enjoy our hunts together.

Absolutely great Sunday morning!

That's what it's all about, memories for the kid and training for the dog, those farm raised birds ain't bad eating either.

Very nice! Congrats on a quality day for you and the boy.
Hope you have many more.
