I know...I got carried away...don't worry won't be heading to Idaho anytime soon. :chuckle:

Just curious moreso, I tried all the whitetail tricks last week, had a nice buck show up right after I tilted my Primos doe can call but can't say if it was a coincidence or by design...he was already on a doe.  Needed about two more seconds to get a good shot and those two seconds never came.

God I want a nice whitetail!!!

Bornforhorns - good questions; here is the only "head on" pic I got.  As you can see he isn't very wide, 15 8/7".  I've been having good success with rattling up until this past weekend.  I tried rattling my favorite spot Saturday a.m. with no luck; this guy came out of the thick, doghair timber in the afternoon directly after a doe.  He appeared to be running her pretty hard but I wasn't waiting around to see much more.  In fact, all I really got was a brief look at his G2 as he was running thru the brush and I knew he was a shooter buck, once he presented himself with a clean body shot I took it and was ecstatic once I walked up to him because he exceeded all my expectations (no ground shrinkage for once!) once I got a hold of his head gear.

THANKS!  I think he's even more awesome now!

That's a picture I'll store away as something to set a goal towards.  I have some nice muleys but you got what I've really desired the last couple years.  I would love to put a Washington tag on a deer with that character.

Great job!  I assume your getting him mounted?  Awesome pictures.

My favorite post this year.

He looks a lot wider than 15 in the picture?  Is that inside the main beams?
