November POM YOU decide
« on: November 28, 2010, 06:45:43 PM »
I am going to run this for 2 days.   The top 5 vote getters will then be entered into a 24 hour shootout.   There are many enteries not included because of size limit restrictions.   If one of the finalists happens to be one I missed as Its very easy for me to miss one, that photo will be thrown out at that time.   Good luck.

Jellymon......I used your two entries not your brothers as I don't know who that is and he should have entered them.  Judges decision I guess. :dunno:

WOW....I'm the first to vote. At least I'm first for something.  Gutpile....as of right now the pic of your daughter and the deer she got has 100% of the votes.  :chuckle:

I have it narrowed down to three.  Can I get three votes?

Casey58, Gutpile, and Decker are my favorites this month.  The first two because they are wonderful field photos with kids with big smiles, and Decker's for the creativity and composition.

Thanks everyone for the entries, it is a fantastic month to see everybodies photos.

Those were among the top for me too.  LongStevo's photo was right up there also.

I have a feeling you'll have to decide between those and one or two others in the final.

Yeah so I voted for my own.  But at least I have one vote!!! :o

WooHoo!!! Go Em Go!!!

Honestly, I don't know how I can compete against such a sweet smile, melts a fellas heart right there. You must be a VERY proud poppa. It's seeing photos like these that make me excited about being a parent someday. Wife is hunting (archery) for the first time this year. We'll have a good family base of outdoors and hunting by the time the little ones come along. Thanks again for sharing Gutpile.

I had to vote for Gutpile's "daughter's deer" photo, since I have two young daughters myself who hopefully will be hunters someday! Loved that picture.

Thanks to everybody. I never do well in these photo contests and was surprised to see so many votes for Em. She's pretty happy about it.

Yeah I'm pretty proud of both of my girls. It's funny about Em because everybody who hunts where I do who stopped by the camper asked " Is Em here" "Em came this year didn't she". Then when she got her deer everyone wanted to know if she was coming back next year. This coming from people who we barely know since we only see them once a year during deer season. Apparently she leaves quite an impression with all of that smiling.

Anyways thanks so much for all of the kind words. I'll pass it along.

I voted for Hirshey's #1 deer pic. I think it is a cool clean pic, with a great angle. Very nice buck too. I also liked the black and white bear, and Grandpa Richards snow geese. Tough month to decide. Why don't you put up any of your pics, Bone?

Tough one.  I had to go with Decker's shot though.
