Well just got home from a weekend in the Winston unit. On Friday on of the guys from our group ran into Weyco security. He found out that Weyco was in trying to get all of the unauthorized campers out of the treefarm, and if people continue to disregard the rules then they are going jump on the band wagon with Port Blakeley and close the gates permanently.
this may be a dumb question but r u not suppose to camp there, because its always full during archery some people all week

Personally I hope they lock every gate in the unit and leave them locked, year round!
It would stop a hell of a lot of the poaching and other abuses, and make for a quality hunt if your willing to work...just a little.
I will buy some locks
I have always said that they should allow camping down below , gravel pit areas of 1900, WDFW could put a dumpster and porta potties up to keep man poo and trash down.It would be a perfect place to camp, beats the corner.
