That's pretty cool, pointer.  Is it the same thing as the Bird Dog Challenge that used to be on TV?  I've been trying to find something like this.  Does anyone know if there's something similar in Western WAshington?

Don't know anything about western WA but they used to run one in Chewelah at the Burlington Ranch. If Wayne see this he will let you know what is going on over there now. Perhaps Happy Gilmore would know about something in western WA.

Is this the one that you have to shoot bumpers launched then your dog retrieves them?

Is that Jeff Lusk in the second picture?

this is the same game as you may have seen on the outdoor channel, they plant 3 birds for each hunter and you have 15 mins to find them.  get points for your dog holding point, full/partial retrieve, bagged birds, and time left.  It is a blast! i encourage anyone who is interested to check it out.  starts up in march and runs through the summer ending in september.  Great way to keep your dogs on birds in the off season.  There used to be a place out of chehalis that ran a couple tournaments a year but they didn't have any this year.  Burlington puts on a good tournament too but he didn't have any this past year either.  Lot's of tournaments in california and nevada tho.

I think that game is called Black Jack.  I have never played that one but Jerry Rainwater put that game together, he is one of the founding partners of the obdc.  I think there is a link to his site on the obdc web site.
