Didn't know where to put this
« on: January 15, 2011, 06:19:45 PM »
2009 Early Archery season up near Forks. Ran into this smallish 5 point. Messed with him for 5 minutes or so having him within 20 yards for at least two or three minutes. Took some pictures with my cheap digital and then switched it to video mode for the last minute or so.

There is a photography section here but this ain't no pro photography.

Figured I was here posting the video, I would add this one.

Don't know if anyone remembers my story about taking a friend out (black powder) that had never taken an elk. Opening day of this year year (Oct. 2), 15 minutes after daylight, we had this guy down. Using the "long arm" photo of me, instead of him. He is 300 pounds and makes this rack look small. I weigh a buck sixty. I did not long arm it intentionally.

Anyway, his first elk ever, a true Roosevelt 5X6. I quickly green scored at around 270, so, decent enough.
