451 bull
« on: April 27, 2008, 07:31:53 AM »
I don't have permission to post the pics yet, but it probably won't be long before they end up on MM.  Remember the gentleman who scored the monster set of sheds last year.....looks like he did it again.   Biggest damn thing I have ever seen.  451 inch (wiht a 40 inch spread) 8x8.   Old *censored* managed to survive the govenors tag team and the raffle tag team after him.  and guess what.......that 400 inch 7x7 typical is still at his side.   Absolutely incredible!!!!!
Sorry for the tease, but I thought I'd at least give you an update.

sorry Jack....not 418.....451

I was up bear scouting a couple weeks ago and got to see the 451 bull at a private residence....incredible bull!  Even more inpressive when you can put your hands around them.

The guy who found them again seems to be a really nice guy and pretty humble.  It was really interesting to listen to the degree of effort that goes into picking up those sheds!

Hope you get the pics up soon.

I would bet that he doesn't make it another year.  Seems that he's getting pretty well patterned and the word is getting out.

Nothing against the auction hunter, but I personally hope that someone from WA gets to put their tag on him - incredible bull.

A lot of time and effort went in to finding a 400 bull last year. They knew they were out there but couldn't find em. That's really going to drive the price up now for the governor tag. I think I'll just buy one raffle ticket like last years winner did.

This teasing is a bunch of BS, heck just show the pics of the 400 class 7x7, I'd be happy  with that.

Well I don't think we'll have to worry about anyone from out of state getting their hands on him... Todd Riechert will buy the governor's tag almost garunteed as he has the past few years now!!

I'm working on it.  I've got 4 pics.  Friendship is more important though, but I hope I get the OK as this bull is incredible.   I saw him 3 years ago along withthe 7x7.  They have been together since.  Two 400 inch bulls standing side by side is something to behold, especially if its NOT high fenced.

I thought the Governors tag was already purchased for something like $63K.  I'll go out and see what I can find.

What I meant was a draw tag holder from WA taking that big boy....sorry for the confusion - Again, nothing against Todd or any other Auction tag holder - I think it is a great source of funding for WA.....would just like to see an avid WA elk hunter/resident with max points put his tag around that horn......especially if I am that person :tung:
