Want a Blacktail
« on: May 06, 2008, 03:54:13 PM »
I hunt southern AZ for javelina each year and would be willing to trade for a Blacktail deer hunt.  Javelina were made for archery hunting.  Rifle good also.  Tag must be drawn.  Not usually a problem pulling a tag.  Live in Tacoma.  Let's talk.

The seasons run in January, February and the first part of March (Spring Hunt).  There are archery, HAM and rifle seasons.  The cost, if there are no changes for the 2009 seasons, is $151.25 for the Non-resident license and $105.00 for the javelina tag.  The tag is issued through the draw system but the odds have been vey good the past few years.  Best is to fly into Tucson and I'd pick you up there and go to camp.  We would hunt about 40 miles NE of Tucson.

Did you get your deer yet? I could be interested in this swap, I shot my deer 2 weeks ago with my bow you can see it in the bow hunting section of this forum. I have been trying to get my son his deer. We hunt on the weekends and it's either sex, it's not over hunted and we see alot of deer. I like to spot and stalk for blacktails. We will hunt this weekend! :IBCOOL:
