Anyone fish Fragrance or Lost Lake?
« on: May 08, 2008, 09:34:33 PM »
My girlfriend and I are looking to do some hiking/fishing this weekend and are wondering about Fragrance or Lost Lake up around Chuckanut Mountain (Larrabee State Park).

We're mostly looking to just spend some time outdoors, and get back into the hiking "scene" and start "toughening up" after the lazy season...but catching a few might be nice.

Just wondering if anyone has fished up there and what your experiences have been.
We've hiked the area a time or two, but never brought the poles...nor run into anyone fishing either lake.

If anyone has some insight to other local lakes, in and around Skagit County, that require some light to moderate hiking (and not a lot of people around) we would much appreciate it.
We're mainly looking to get away from the "popular" lakes, and all the big crowds...while I'm secretly trying to get her interested more in the outdoors.

I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
