.25-35 winchester project
« on: February 14, 2011, 09:31:21 PM »
I have always liked the .25-35 for a plinker and short range whitetail rifle, but I don't have one.  I know I should have bought one when Winchester brought them out in the model 94 a few years ago.  I know I can get one in an Encore from TC.  Does anyone have other suggestions, say in a falling block or break action single shot single shot, custom or otherwise?

Thanks,

Too bad this came up now, I just sold a Savage 99 in 25-35 that was insanely accurate.  If your satisfied with single shot either should work.  A falling block (ruger #1 ea brown high wall) will be a little easier on brass.

After the first shot the rest are just noise.

I would love to have one in a winchester 64.
