Howdy fellas, I'm new to WA and am trying to get back into coyote hunting. Ive lived in Sacramento for the past 19 years and was an avid coyote hunter on a few local ranches. Recently I moved up to WA (PLU specifically) to go to school. Being new territory and all, anyone care to shed some light on the hunting situation here? Can anyone recommend some public land for a weekend warrior in between school weeks? I appreciate all the help I can get.

Pick up a copy of the WA Atlas and Gazetteer,  it has a list of public hunting areas, has 98 topographic maps of the state to 1:150,000 scale, shows national and state forests.  Most forest production areas are open for hunting but alot of them are walk in again you have to get maps from the companies.  Hit the state website for public lands maps.  Get a copy of the small game and big game rules to understand the hunting reg in the state.  Welcome to WA and have fun.
