Tasco by reputation is junk.
What model is it and what caliber of rifle are you going to put it on?

I would not own one. I would save your money. If you want a decent scope for cheap look into the banners by bushnell. In fact I have one I will pm you about.

For that money you can do a lot better. Look at Vortex Diamondback or even a Crossfire.

Buy the cheapest 3-9x Bushnell at Wally World and it will be a better scope for about the same money.
The reason there are so many Ruger upgrades is because they're necessary.

Have you ever shot a rifle with a 32x scope stuck to the top of it?
Picture a rifle with a telescope on top. Why do you want to change?

:iamwithstupid: The scope on my primary rifle goes up to 16x and it is too high for practical use on big game. 12x is about as high as i would go on a deer/elk rifle. 32x maybe on a bench gun, not a hunting rifle  :twocents:

When it comes to optics, you literally DO get what you pay for.  You buy cheap, you get cheap.
If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

When Bernie Madoff did it, it's called a "Ponzi Scheme"
When Government does it, it's called "Social Security"

:yeah:

My primary predator guns all have 4.5-14 mil-dots on them and my big game rifles have either 3-9s or 4-12s.

This rifle has the 6-18x Bushnell Banner scope on it. It's a decent scope for the money but I still say it's a clunker of a scope.            You can see how big it is...
