I shoot Wac Em Tritons and they fly exactly like my field points out to 70yds.
It took buying a few different broadheads to find the one my bow and setup liked.
And I didn't have to tune my bow differently to get the broadheads to fly like my field points.
I tuned my bow to the field points and then found a broadhead that shot the same.

its not just the bow you have to tune most broadheads will fly good if you tune them.

I got the Mathews z 7 last year and put the trophy taker full containment drop away on it. The bow paper tuned in 5 shots shooting bullet. I shot it for a couple of months with field points before broadhead. I spun tested my broad heads and shot them. They were perfect out to 60 yards, which is the farthest I shoot broad heads. Didn't have to change a thing . Makes life a lot easier ! Mike

I too have a maxis 31 and it shoots both g5 montecs and shuttle ts the same as field points. Index all your broadheads to line up with your vanes and spin test all your arrows. Check your cam alinment, center shot, and nock height and all your arrows should fly the same as long as they are spined right for your bow. Good luck.
If we were supposed to be vegetarian God would have made broccoli more fun to shoot!
"HOYT" why would you even consider shooting something else?

My rest is the spot hog boss and my rest is a trophy taker drop away and a fuse stabalizer.

Like the others say, tune your bow. I prefer the walk back tuning:
http://forums.mathewsinc.com/archery-4/technical-faq-28/walk-back-tuning-how-to-do-it-44159/

For broad head, I have never found anything close to the Slick Trick for flying like field points, but in all fairness to the rest of the broad head makers out there, I didn't have to look very far. Slick Tricks were the 3rd that I tried, and I will never leave them.

I have shot the shuttle-t's. They fly greay and put animals down, quick! The only complaint I have with them is the price. That's why I switched to magnus. Lifetime warranty baby! :ibcool:

Hey Blacktail,

Did you just win that bow at the RMEF dinner on the 26th? That is the same bow someone won that night. Congrats if it was you!!! They need more archery stuff at those dinners!!!!!!!

Anyway, just do an internet search for Eastmans Bow Tuning Guide and download it. It's all you need (besides the right equipment, which isn't much) to get your bow tuned and arrows shooting like darts :)

You can probably just do a search on this web site for the guide, I have posted the link on here before.

Good luck
Fulla
