i've been using a live Dwarf Donky. getting good results on cougar havnt tryed hem on coyote yes. i use a shock caller. works great. Rick

Try to let the coyote eat the chicken before you shoot it!   :chuckle:  (oh, and video would be best)

Why shoot the coyote at all.  Put a hook in the chicken somewhere and get ready for a rodeo.

On another note an buddy told me of a trapping method where trappers hang a wire off the ground high enough for a coyote to reach it but his feet won't touch the ground.  They slap a hunk of chicken meat on the hook, when the yote jumps up to grab it he hooks the roof of his mouth and hangs there till someone comes to shoot him. 

OUCH!

Craigslist, free chickens on there and when you tell them your not going to eat them, you wont be lying..
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.
