It sounds like guiding for elk without a guiding licence. Illegal without a guiding license, right Norsepeak ?

To me, flaming people for not paying a person for their services is not the way to mount a good PR campaign. It is advertising, but I don't think in the way intended.  :twocents:

Here are the facts,
its free, its not a business. whether I Itake my son or some complete stranger hunting is not against the law. If it were we would all be in jail for taking someone hunting...... Your splitting hairs here and stirring the pot...

Okay so if I go with my buddy who draws a tag and I call for him for free.... that is guiding without a license?  NOT

No license is needed to be a hunting guide in this state. But that's beside the point. He's not asking to be paid. This is no different than a friend assisting another friend on a hunt. People help others on hunts all the time, and it's not uncommon for people on this site to volunteer their help to others on this site, even if they have never met in person. If that couldn't happen on this site because it might take away business from hunting guides- well, then I guess there wouldn't be much point to having this site at all.   :twocents:

How in the ....... is this guiding without a license?
Hopefully you don't take any friends hunting and show them or help them then I guess...cuzz that would be guiding without a license?

so is Norse gona go around in the woods during the season and chastise anyone helping helping someone with a branched antler tag because they're stealing his business? I lived there, i put in there ill help who ever asks, BECAUSE I LIKE HUNTING ELK. whether I'm shooting or not. ill tell you one thing though. that petty crap makes me think twice about using/re comending him. :twocents:
