HOLY SMOKES! That buck is an absolute beast! I'd find it tough to fork over the money to mount a set of shed antlers but I have no arguements with that set! I think I'd drop the cash in a heartbeat!

That is a once in a lifetime matched set.  Very nice!

Well the beauty about the mount is it is only costing me a bass fishing trip with the taxi (father in law).  Pretty good deal if you ask me :)

That is a once in a lifetime matched set.  Very nice!

When I found this set, that is exactly what I thought, but for me it is now twice in a lifetime.  The link is to the set I picked up this year, the sets were found in two different counties and not ajoining (so not the same gene pool).  The taxi is saving a cape for them of an old buck, says it will cost me another fishing trip  ;)

I took the mount into the big horn show and got them measured, the right is 90 2/8 and the left is 88 7/8, so with a 19 inch spread, very close to 200 inches gross.  Net non-typical is 173 4/8 without a spread credit, if only I could shoot one like this!  If you happen to go to the big horn show, check them out.

That's why those dang things made my arms tired after only holding them for 5 seconds. Would have made great dumbells, but you just can't beat the monsterous mount. Epic, man epic.
