Dad and I are going! Now I start planning a scouting trip. Anybody know where I can shoot some varmints in late may early June?

Check with FWP on when you can shoot prairie dogs, should be able to find some of those anywhere east of the continental divide.  Plenty of coyotes too.  If you hit the hay cuttings right, there are plenty of gophers in the central part of the state.
