Went out shed hunting for the first time this year
« on: April 19, 2011, 08:20:14 PM »
Headed to one of my fav spots I have hunted/shed hunted in the past.I found no fresh ones but I did find an old one with 9 scoreable points..75" and one small 4.. another good thing is all the walking i did in this wintering area I saw only one dead deer, looked like a yearling. Saw tons of deer on the way out..looks like a good year to come...Here are some pics

Hill I was searching

Sweet I reccognize that area

The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.
