Lifesize Wolf project Im in the process of working on!
«

This is a wolf that one of our members killed in canada a couple years back. Im hatting the tan but it will do. Its like trying to taxi a piece of rubber and make it stay in the spot you want it, it just springs back. Anyway, got most of the sewing done in between people stopping by and playing on the swingset with the daughter. I will have him all finished up tomorrow. There is still alot of work that needs done on him . I can already say I want to do some more lifesize wolfs

John. judging by the size of the form and comparingn it to a 130 pound cougar form Id say 115ish give or take ?? . The wolf is all hair and makes it look way bigger than they are. I dont know if they weighed it or not.

-The guide I hunted with said he was alittle heavier then that but we never weight him! I packed him about 100yards though over my shoulder and said F@#K this lets get the Argo over here! He was Heavy! We were set up on a lake doing moose cow calls, and I seen this wolf on the other side of the lake running towards us. He went into a timber patch so I ranged a few trees where I thought he would come out, sure enough he was standing next to the tree I just Ranged at 410yards! I had a little tree in front of me where I was sitting for a rest and let em have it! Longest shot I have ever had! The Damn wolves Ruined my Moose Hunt though! Tracks everywhere following moose! Bad deal! I didnt get my 50" moose on the wall that I dreamed about but The Wolf Mount sure is COOL!

Update, wolf is all sewn up and somewhat groomed out. Feet still need to be finished out but need to wait for the clay to set up a bit. Man these things are cool. Its not turning out too bad for my first wolf mount.
